Chromalux® light bulbs are made of special composition glass containing neodymium, an earth element with unique color enhancing and purification properties. Neodymium absorbs yellow and other dulling components of the visible light spectrum, in turn purifying light and allowing violet, blue, green, and red components to be strengthened, without producing an imbalance of one color over another.
